The artisan workshop of the Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani can be seen from the shop. Clients can watch the master craftsmen at work.
Since the opening of the leather shop, the workshop has retained its original appearance. The coffered ceilings decorated with precious stuccoes make the workshop linked to the Florentine tradition evocative, where leather is worked and transformed into bags, wallets, belts. Our creations take shape in the center of the room on the large work table.
Hanging on the walls are the working and cutting models of all the bags that have been made by Pelletteria over the years, which transform a work tool into the most beautiful of scenographies.
On the sides of the large room you will find the typical machinery of leather goods work: the splitting machine, the skiving machine and the sewing machine. The typical tools of processing are everywhere: hammers, scissors, awls, knives, pincers, tailor’s meters, brushes, colors, etc., in an organized chaos that is the creative order of the craftsman.
In the background, the stunning nineteenth-century garden makes this evocative workplace a peaceful place to live.
