Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani considers raw materials to be the basis of craftsmanship and the superb quality of the leather we use is a distinctive feature of our production. The cut of the leather is done entirely manually, therefore guaranteeing a high quality and artisanal Italian workmanship in the name of elegance and practicality.
The work around a leather object made by Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani begins with the leather. The raw material is the basis of craftsmanship and the excellent quality of the leather we use is a distinctive feature of our production. For our creations we only use leathers processed in the Tuscan tanneries located in Santa Croce sull’Arno.
The cut leather parts are always worked by hand, whether through bench work and or machine (splitting machine, skiving machine, sewing machine) and joined to the lining. The lining of our bags are also entirely in leather. During bench work, metal accessories (also Made in Italy), hinges and closures are added. Finally, the colored details are hand painted with wear-resistant colors.
We can undoubtedly state that products subject to such processing have become increasingly rare, even in a city like Florence. Our products are high quality and artisanal Italian workmanship in the name of elegance and practicality.
We take great pride in seeing that bags manufactured in the Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani are still in excellent shape more than thirty years after their production.
